Channeling my inner Olivia Pope. Who else is hooked?! I’m on the final season on Netflix and seriously, how can any of this possibly have a good ending?! I’m in it until the end, though!
I have been wanting a “power suit” and made it half way there. I found these muted pink pants at Express (yes, they are pink) and couldn’t pass them up. Not to mention they were also half off which was a nice bonus! I decided to put together this chic suit pants outfit for you guys. It’s perfect for an office job, internship, or upcoming job interview.
Since they are such a light pink, they are basically a neutral which makes it easy to find a matching top. (For some reason the link below says sold out but if you click thru they are still available). I went super basic and just paired it with this sheer white blouse–can’t go wrong with this combo. It’s super simple + chic. For any business outfit, I don’t suggest any top that is too tight–you will look unprofessional. Find something that has a tailored fit or is a little loose.
These nude pumps are from Francesca’s and actually have a bit of a pink hue to them. They are great to have on hand and a good staple to invest in–especially since they go with so much.
I have gotten compliments on this purse. It’s basically a Kate Spade impostor (shh, it’s from H & M). I have shared it a few times before with an off the shoulder top and a cozy winter look. I love the color because once again, it is so versatile. The structure also has a way of completely pulling together a look. I linked a few similar ones down below.
If you are dressing for a job interview or an office job, I would suggest a bag with more structure. Throwing on a satchel or flimsy purse will look sloppy and unprofessional.
