I had a lot of fun shooting these pictures–despite the incredibly hot weather! (My hair was not made for these kinds of days.) I shared a Lily Pulitzer fringe skirt look a few posts back that you can check out. I’m still riding that wave and sharing this LP demi dress.
I’m such a pink girl, so this dress was “add to cart” at first sight. One of my favorite parts is? the sweetheart neckline–it is such a flattering style on any figure. This dress is much more of a structured/fitted look as opposed to your typical summer sway dress. It makes it great for special occasions–weddings, nights out, vacations, a grad, and so on.
A convertible strap also comes with the dress. You can see it in the slide at the end.? It adds more detail and is great if you don’t want to go strapless. If you do use the strap, I would suggest skipping a necklace and just accessorizing with statement earrings or bracelets instead.
You can also pair it with a structured jacket for cooler nights (or if you’re trapped inside AC). I would be careful with anything too lose or “flimsy” though since it will dress down the look, and mixing the styles will look sloppy.
Also, I linked some similar shoes as well as a pair of heels from NY & Co that I adore. As far as accessories go, I choose gold because this pink + gold color combo is hands down my fave (not to mention these colors bring out your summer tan). You can find the exact earrings and necklace down below as well. I’ll let you in on a little secret–Kohl’s and Target!
